Gravity Series 560 Digital Charcoal Grill + Smoker

Masterbuilt’s Gravity Series 560 Digital Charcoal Grill + Smoker has grabbed our attention. A number of our readers and Pitmaster Club members have asked about it as well. Although we’re still putting this unit through our rigorous testing process, we want you to know that our full detailed review is right around the corner.

Gravity feed smokers employ a chute or hopper that is filled with charcoal to provide a steady supply to the fire below, aiming to eliminate the babysitting required with stick burners and some other designs. These tried and true smokers have been popular for many years, but Masterbuilt managed to bring the basic design into the 21st century by adding a WiFi enabled, thermostatic control system that’s similar to modern pellet cookers. Set your cooking temperature just like you do with your kitchen oven, add the food, and smoking with charcoal gets a whole lot easier. And it’s reasonably priced. A variable speed fan maintains the set temp, and you can even control and monitor this Grill/Smoker from a smart phone. This charcoal smoker also doubles as a high temperature grill.

So far we’re impressed with this unique, new cooker that seems to work as advertised. To be notifiied when our final review and rating is posted, sign up for our free newsletter, Smoke Signals.
